From December 12 to December 13, 2024, Mr. Noot and Mr. Loewen, Supervisory Officer of the Ministry of Education of BC, Canada, made a special trip to Luwan Senior High School for a two-day annual inspection of the Sino-Canadian BC International Program. The annual inspector made a comprehensive and detailed assessment of the certification of teachers’ qualifications, the development of teachers’ profession, the choice of curriculum content, the level of English language, the development of learning resources, and the safety of fire protection facilities.
Luwan High School BC International Curriculum passed the annual quality inspection with full A results. The supervisor of the BC Education and Education Bureau of Canada affirmed the BC curriculum in several aspects:
First of all, Luwan BC’s International Program has advanced facilities. A series of teaching facilities, such as the Wisdom Library, the Dragonflies New World, the Human Engineering Intelligence Experimental Area, and the Chemical Learning Laboratory are open to BC courses. The BC curriculum program provides rich curriculum resources and diversified curriculum experience, while cultivating students’ comprehensive quality, but also focusing on students’ physical health and development.
Secondly, this year’s BC International Curriculum Provincial Examination had excellent results, showing the students’ solid academic foundation and ability to understand and apply knowledge.
Finally, the supervisor believes that Luwan High School and the BC International Curriculum is not only committed to students’ academic studies, but also to cultivate students’ cooperative inquiry and problem-solving skills. Rich curriculum resources, practical activities and advanced teaching facilities provide a diversified platform for students to grow, which is conducive to promoting students’ creativity and developing critical thinking.
In the future, Luwan High School and the BC International Curriculum will continue to pursue excellence, cultivate more students with international vision and social responsibility, and contribute to our education!
