Christmas is always a special time. Christmas trees, gift exchanges and most importantly, spending quality time with the people we care most about. This festive atmosphere could be felt throughout the halls of Luwan Senior High School throughout the end of December. The house teams had a Christmas tree decorating contest, student council decorated the halls, and a “Secret Santa” gift exchange was also organized. On the day before the holidays, everyone had the pleasure of watching original plays written by the students, songs and dance performances. Steven Wu had an extra festive day, both being awarded first place in the short story writing competition and having the chance to throw a pie in Mr. Berg’s face for having read an entire novel as part of the “Bookmark Hunt” activity organized by the student council. After all was said and done, the students voted for the best performances in the student council wechat group, with the grade 12 dance performance taking first place.
