On October 13th, all of us were deeply immersed and engaged in the wonderful 30-min presentation given by Leyla about her university – McMaster. She first talked about the city of Hamilton where McMaster University is located. We were fascinated by the wonderful scenery of the National Forest Park nearby. Since most students were curious about the various courses/programs offered by one of the top Canadian universities, Leyla gave us a thorough explanation about the four specific major programs at McMaster University, including engineering and business.
In the Q&A session, ten students asked questions about the admission requirement and majors that they were interested in pursuing. Throughout the session, Leyla was very dedicated and patient making sure that everyone had a comprehensive understanding of McMaster University by answering all the questions that students had. In the end, Leyla presented the students with lovely souvenirs from the university. Overall, students felt the presentation was quite informative, comprehensive, and useful. Indeed, many of the G11 and G10 students started to show interest in attending McMaster University.
