Track and Field has finally rung down the curtain on November 4th, 2016. Because of weather disturbances and lots of other interesting activities, track and field was divided into two parts and paused for a period of over two weeks. But thanks to the hard work of all the athletes and teachers, it was finally completed. Everyone’s enthusiasm and optimism was apparent throughout the event.
For every sports event, we had both boys and girls events. On the first day, which was on October 12th, the 1 mile run and 100 meter run were held and because of the lack of time, the Frisbee throw was not completely finished, so it was pushed to the next day. “What a pity!” said John Jiang, a student in Grade 12. “I enjoy this so much that I don’t even want this event to end.”
On the second part of this grand activity, the Frisbee throw was finished, together with the 400m relay and the ball throw. Every one on the playground seemed so delighted and a little bit exhausted after the efforts. Everyone participated in this game actively and enjoyed it. What’s more, thanks to the various types of sports, the relationship of the separated grades was connected together again and formed an invisible whole named the BC program.
Jerry Liang was the captain of the Red team and his performance was so dazzling throughout the whole event. He had a super strong ability in sports and was also nicknamed as “MuscleMan” among students. “I look forward to the next chance to have so many good sports, but maybe it is the last time for me in senior school,” he said.
In conclusion, thanks to the hard work of the directors of the school events, this indelible memory has been inscribed in all the BC students’ hearts. Nobody who attended this activity will forget this commemorative day even 10, 20 years later.
