Nowadays, many schools have fitness clubs, including our school. For the last two years the club was lead by Mr. Misquith but this year we have a new leader.

Mr. Chang is one of our new teachers. He used to be a Frisbee coach. He leads the new fitness club every Monday and Friday at 12:10. The location is usually at the track. Normally they run on Monday and practice Frisbee on Friday. It is effective at spreading our spirit on the field. The first training session was run by Mr. Berg. He made the students run 5 laps. A lot of students couldn’t do it. On Friday we saw the grade 11 students chasing the Frisbee and learning skills from Mr. Chang. The biggest difference between these two years is the intensity. Even if it is raining, the “evil” coach last year still made us run. The club will be much easier this year and we will enjoy the training much more.

Training makes us more tired but still teaches us what it means to persist. “No pain, no gain” is what we can learn from fitness club. Hold on consistently and persistently until you reach your goal.
